Is all your fuel tank data reaching your desk?
The FuelMaster® Tank Monitor Interface Kit interfaces with
the original equipment manufacturer's Tank Level Monitor Unit (TLMU)
allowing the user to retrieve data and reports about the tanks the
TLMU is controlling. The interface kit is installed in the Master
FuelMaster Unit (FMU) and user designated software selections enables
the TLMU to report data.
The Tank Monitor Interface kit consists of two circuit boards that
are installed in the master (FMU) at the selected site. Wiring is
required from the TLMU console (usually located in a building convenient
to the fuel island) to these boards. This can usually be accomplished
by using the conduit containing the modem phone line and the onsite
printer cable.
The Central Controller software allows the selection of the TLMU
type at each site configured in the databases. FuelMaster® supports
most of the popular TLMUs on the market today (e.g., Veeder Root,
Pneumercator, AutoStik, Incon, Gilbarco, etc.).
After installing the hardware and selecting the TLMU type in the
software, you may manually retrieve reports from the tank monitor
at any time. The reports are stored in a file in the FuelMaster®directory
of your computer's hard drive. You may view or print these reports.
Options in the Central Controller program allows the user to: (1)
specify that Tank Level Monitor reports be automatically obtained
every time transactions are downloaded, and (2) that tank inventory
information retrieved from the reports be incorporated into the
Site Inventory portion of the Central Controller as a stick reading.
These readings may be used to replace the current inventory values.
